The event, at Mudgee Pavilion in the Mudgee Showgrounds, will highlight what playgroup is all about—fun, interactive and educational activities for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Vendors from local businesses, as well as community agencies and other community groups will be participating.
Free activities will include face painting, arts and crafts, a jumping castle, reading corner and entertainment for families with young children.
Kathleen Smitheram, local resident and volunteer coordinator of the Mudgee Playgroup, said, “We’re excited to bring local families from all over the Mudgee region together to celebrate National Playgroup Week. We are planning a day of fun and free activities especially tailored to families with young children.”
