Rob, a Vietnam Veteran himself, has made it his aim to visit the birth town of each deceased Veteran from the Vietnam war, as well as present conflicts, and place a small Australian flag on the War Memorial in each town.
In a moving tribute to local fallen solider, Barry George, Rob presented John Taylor – Kandos Sub-Branch President, with the flag on behalf of Lyn Rawlinson, Barry George’s sister.
Rob will now continue his self-funded ride, hoping to deliver a total of 560 flags in three years.
Lest We Forget.
