Billed as an ‘evening of dinner, dancing and fundraising’, the event was a complete success last year for the 50th anniversary, with $17,000 raised for childhood disease cures in last year’s drive.
This year the CMRI Mudgee Committee has raised the fundraising goal and secured Edwina Bartholomew from Channel 7 to MC the evening.
The committee is confident they’ll reach their goal with the auction which includes a painting by Georgia Mansur, as well as ‘Tradie for a Day’ – day of labour from Adam Keightley, Richard Callander, Bill Dowdy and a $500 voucher to Petrie’s Mitre 10.
There will also be raffle tickets on sale every weekend from 10am to noon in front of Blooms, with prizes including a two night stay at Queen’s Pinch Vineyard Guest House, a case of Logan wine, a signed copy of Summerlandish by Summer Land and more.
