The breakfast club was established in 2016. It provides breakfast for kids who may not get the chance to eat before coming to school. This program provides support and resources to help them prepare for their day.
The program is run in conjunction with an exercise program, run by the school’s Welfare Officer, to promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices and the and introduction of the revised healthy canteen strategy increases the availability of healthy food and drink options in school.
The funds provided by the IGA is a huge boost for the Breakfast Club and will ensure its continuous success in the future.
