The launch event held at Dunedoo last Sunday provided local farmers and community members an opportunity to come together and find out what Active Farmers is all about.
Active Farmers General Manager, Ginny Stevens, said she was extremely excited with success of the event.
“I couldn't be happier with the efforts of Tracey and everyone who came along, and it was the biggest Active Farmers launch event yet,” Ginny said.
“I believe Tracey is providing an exceptional service to her community and is really making a difference to the physical and mental health of all involved.”
Delta Agribusiness representative, Hayden Rhodes helped organise the event and advised gave his thoughts about the morning.
“The Dunedoo community has just experienced the worst Bushfire in living memory. We are a devastated, yet now stronger community since the fire,” he said.
“The Active Farmers Launch bought our community together in a way that we wouldn’t normally congregate. It really was a proud moment to be living in this community and to be part of the Active Farmers network and we look forward to working together in the future.”
Delta Agribusiness branch manager, Sandy Cox thanked Ginny and Andy Stevens, Tracey Mathews and her family plus all the volunteers who helped to cook breakfast on the day.
“I can easily say that everyone there left with a smile on their face”.
Active Farmers, a joint venture with Delta Ag, aims to provide a service that helps improve not only physical health, but also mental health.
Tracey is looking forward to continuing to help strengthen the health and wellbeing in the local communities through her Active Farmers classes and is thankful for all the support.
"The Active Farmers launch was a great event,” she said.
“It was great to see so many kids, mums, dads, grandparents and lots of new faces support the event.
“I’m passionate about helping my community by providing fitness, whether it be for physical or mental well-being. There were so many happy, smiling faced and lots of laughter – that’s what its all about!"
