Telling kids to eat more vegies simply because they are ‘healthy’ doesn’t work.
So the Healthy Kids Association, with support of NSW Health, is coordinating The Big Vegie Crunch – a record-breaking attempt to have the most kids eating vegies simultaneously. The Big Vegie Crunch event was held as part of Vegetable Week which ran from 22-26 May 2017.
On Thursday 25 May at 10am sharp, Hargraves Public School and its eighteen students participated in the Big Vegie Crunch together in the hope it increases students’ knowledge, exposure and positive attitudes towards the humble vegetable.
