All games were of high quality and results showed just that.
The most anticipated match-up of the day was the Under 10's Grand Final re-match, now 11, between Mudgee 11's White and Mudgee 11's Red - and it well an truly lived up to expectations.
Early into the first half, a Jack Nicholas runaway try put the White's in good stead with this first try proving crucial in the end result.
Not long after, a strong run lead to another White's try through backrower Demiah Ainuu, the try was converted making the score 12-0 in favour of the White's.
Any other side could have switched off and let the game run away, but not the Mudgee Red's outfit hitting back just before half-time through Will Stott, the try converted.
A tactical switch from Red's coach Guy Pascoe at half-time proved pivotal, moving Ky Reddish into the dummy half role.
Reddish played out of his skin the entire second half and it showed once the Red side struck back through five-eighth Logan Huia.
The try was converted locking the game back up at 12-all. Throughout the entire game, White's prop Bowen Price continued to make huge metres through the middle, really testing the Red's defence.
These extra metres lay the platform for Jack Nicholas to score his second try of the day giving the White's the upper hand with a few minutes to go at 18-12.
White's back Jesse Weaver, and forwards Callan Martin and Aaron Dent were consistent throughout the game.
While Ky Reddish and Logan Huia were stand-outs for the Reds, and winger Lachlan Hemingway showed plenty of heart with his kick chases.
The Mudgee Red's side fought hard but run out of time in the end, Mudgee 11's White repeating recent history and taking the win 18-12.
Once again, these two sides were a credit to the Mudgee Junior Dragons and both look like forces coming into the second half of the season.
Mudgee 11's White 18 (Jack Nicholas (2), Demiah Ainuu), conversions (Ned McCarney, Xavier Yeo, Jesse Weaver) def. Mudgee 11's Red 12 (Will Stott, Logan Huia), conversions (Lachlan Clayton, Ky Reddish).
