If you’re male and always wanted to be an extra in a TV show, here's your chance.
Channel Nine TV show Doctor Doctor needs “guys who could look like jockeys” to be extras in an upcoming episode of the second season.
Extras casting agent Jane Dawkins posted to Facebook group ‘Doctor Doctor Mudgee Extras’ on Monday, calling for “any men around 165cm/5’5” and under. No riding required”.
Why just guys?
At least two comments questioned if the call for jockeys was for men only and why?
One commented “Why is that? The female jockeys are just as good as the men.”
Jane responded “absolutely! We have already booked the lady jockeys but need to find suitable men now as well”.

Extra Extra, read all about it
The ‘Doctor Doctor Mudgee Extras’ Facebook was created to give residents the chance to ‘star’ in the Channel Nine TV show (appear in the background).
On the plus side – you might get to stand/sit near TV star Rodger Corser.
The social media page description calls for extras in the region – “We will be casting Mudgee locals as our extras, and are looking for people from all ages, genders, and walks of life to come join our team. This a great opportunity for anyone with a flexible work schedule who wants to see what a film shoot is like, get paid, and have fun!”
The costume brief stated – “Could you please come dressed in your every day ordinary country clothing. If you are a farmer or miner or work in a shop or just going shopping. We would like you to look local rather than city.”
“Some ideas – shirts or t shirts, jeans or moleskins, work shirts, casual jackets or blazers, work boots, riding boots or akubras.”
