Lithgow resident Usman Mahmood, his son Baasil and Ahmadiyya Community Penrith Chapter president Ashfaq Ahmad met with Reverend Aidan Luke from Mudgee Baptist Church, Pastor Warren and Annette Taylor from Frontline Christian Church, Father Tony Hennessy from St. Mary's Catholic Church and Reverend Greg Smith at the Uniting Church.

‘Demystifying Islam’ will be held at the Mudgee Town Hall on Friday, July 21. The forum is designed to remove the misconceptions about Islam and offer a Q & A session with Imam Mohammad Atae Rabbi Hadi.
Over 80 residents attended the Lithgow event in May, with the focus on sharia law, religious dress and women’s rights.
