If you have an injured native animal you may be able to get help from a registered Volunteer Native Animal Care Group, licensed by NPWS, and a registered charity. Their area of operations covers from Lithgow to Dunedoo, Capertee Valley and Rylstone. They offer rescue, rehabilitation and release care for all native animals. They also have a qualified reptile handler in the Rylstone area. As volunteers the service is free. Call 0408 966 228 for more information.
