Two North West Falcons teams scored very different wins in Round 13 of the 2017 Dubbo and District Football Association season on Sunday.

The Lady Falcons – the only team to play at homeat Billy Dunn Oval, Gulgong - took on Orana Spurs and came away with a well earned 14 to nil win.
The club’s Men’s Third Grade team snatched a last-gasp 3 to 2 victory over the Newtown Devils in Dubbo.
After trailing for significant periods of the match – Tim Lincoln scoring their early goal – the local side leveled and passed the home side late with a double to Greg Reid.
Earlier, the Falcons Men’s Fourth Grade side were beaten 4 to 1 by Dubbo FC in Dubbo.
The visitors got off to a good start with the opening goal of the match scored by John Close, however were unable to add any more points to the scoreboard.
Only two of the Falcons sides are in action this weekend (Sunday, July 30, 2017), both playing away in Dubbo.
The Lady Falcons are set for a challenge when they take on the competition-leading Dubbo City Rangers.
The Men’s Thirds play the Westside Panthers, although they’ve got breathing room over the Gulgong side on the ladder it’s likely to be a close match.
The Men’s Fourths have the bye this weekend.
This is the final round of the Dubbo and District Football regular season, with non-competition games scheduled for August 6 (a precautionary weekend in the event of washouts during the year) ahead of the finals the following Sunday.

Men’s Third Grade:
NORTH WEST FALCONS 3 defeated NEWTOWN DEVILS 2.
Men’s Fourth Grade:
DUBBO FC defeated NORTH WEST FALCONS 1.
ROUND 14 DRAW:
9am: Ladies – North West Falcons vs Dubbo City Rangers, Lady Cutler Oval, Dubbo.
1pm: Thirds – North West Falcons vs Westside Panthers, Lady Cutler Oval, Dubbo.
Bye: Fourths – North West Falcons.
