The Swans ran out 62 to 6 winners, with Tyson Searle scoring four tries and Blake Taufa added three, with James Haley, Sam Christian, Adam Chapman, and Brendon Potbury all getting over the line and Dan Lane booting nine goals.
Jake Latham crossed for the downed Roos, converted by Brayden Burgess.
Fresh from their best performance of the year Dunedoo will be quietly confident about their prospects for their next local derby against the Gulgong Terriers at Dunedoo this Saturday.
With the side knocking on the door of a finals berth this is a must win game for the Swans, while the Terriers will be stinging from their loss at home to Gilgandra last weekend, making it a vital clash for both clubs.
Last weekend in Round 15 at Trangie the Magpies did their northern black and white counterparts – the Baradine Magpies - a huge favour by downing the Coonabarabran Unicorns 58 to 30 in a very free flowing game at Trangie.
While Baradine kicked back and relaxed with the bye the loss by Coonabarabran means that the Maggies leapfrogged them into fourth position on the competition ladder.
Both the Magpie outfits are showing to possess enormous amounts of potential and could well upset sides that currently sit above them on the competition ladder.
Meanwhile in the ladies’ competition, the Warren Bulldogs moved into second place on the competition ladder in the Christie and Hood Castlereagh League - League Tag competition when they score a six try to two victory over Coonamble at Coonamble, the final score being 26 to 12.
The loss by the Coonamble Bearettes now places a lot of importance on their game against Baradine this Saturday at Baradine.
Currently the Magpiettes sit just one point behind Coonamble on the competition ladder and if they win they will be the four and giving the club’s chances of twin semi-finals appearances a big boost.
In the context of the final four in both rugby league and league tag there are some highly important games featuring in round 16 of the competition.
Coonabarabran will be hoping to keep their semi final dreams alive, however come up against the competition powerhouse when they face up to Gilgandra at Coonabarabran.
While the Baradine and Coonamble match takes on immense proportions for both teams, with the Magpies trying to secure a place in the semis they’ll need to prove they’re the real deal against the Bears looking to shore up second place.
