Applications are now open for the grants that are available to assist with small maintenance and conservation projects for buildings that are either listed, significant or located within a Heritage Conservation Area.
Applications can be made for minor repairs and maintenance such as external painting, roofing, restoration of timber windows and awning replacement across heritage sites in the region.
Grants between $500 and $5,000 are available, with matched funding to be provided by the applicant.
Council currently recognises more than 400 individually listed heritage items and four urban heritage conservation areas in the Mid-Western Region.
