With the Bureau of Meteorology tipping snow around the Central West region above 800m on Monday, there may be falls around the Mudgee region.
Hargraves, Bocoble and Cherry Tree Hill may see a dusting during the cold day.
There is a chance of rain, thunderstorms and even hail during the morning.
The forecast comes after a very windy weekend with a high chill factor in the region.
The bureau says a cold front is approaching the Central Tablelands from the southwest.
“This front will affect western parts of the state during Sunday, extending through to the east early Monday accompanied by vigorous winds in most areas,” the bureau states.
Motorists are urged to take care on the roads.
