The inflatable clown was last seen on the corner of Gladstone and Douro Street in Mudgee on Sunday, August 6.
He was wearing a cheeky smile, yellow and red outfit, bow-tie and top hat.
He is dearly missed by The Great Moscow Circus.
If you have seen him, please call the Circus on 0497 667 269 – no questions asked.
The inflatable clowns started popping up last week in Mudgee to promote the return of The Great Moscow Circus after three years, with performances scheduled to start on Wednesday, August 16.
The clown – worth around $3000 to replace – was positioned at 94 Gladstone Street, before it was taken.
The home owner told the Circus “the ropes had been cut” but the pump was left behind.
It’s believed the clown was taken on Sunday night around the same time other damage was reported in the area.
This is not the first time the Circus has had a clown stolen, a spokesperson explained “last time, kids took one and their mum found it in the backyard.”
If you have seen the stolen clown please call the Circus.
