After leading her side to a Group 10 record third league tag premiership against minor premiers Orange Hawks on Sunday, St Pat’s star Mish Somers couldn’t hide her excitement.
"It feels pretty amazing,” she said.
“I've only been here for two of the wins but most of the girls have been here for all three, so it's been awesome.
"To get a win on what will probably be Karah Armstrong's last game is fantastic.”
Somers was crowned the player of the game after producing in the clutch to help claw her side back from a six-point deficit to win 16-12 at Wade Park.
"At 12-6 down we looked a bit down and out but we rallied a bit towards the end like we've done a few times this season. Bronte's intercept try was what lifted the girls to get us home,” she said.
"Everyone played well. In patches we weren't so good, but if the girls are all backing up for each other then everyone looks good, and it's great we got the win."
