Mudgee Local Area Command police stopped the driver of a white Toyota corolla at 4:20pm on Friday, September 15 for a random breath test.

The driver, was stopped on Sydney Road, Mudgee about 100 metres south of Horatio Street.
The breath test returned a negative reading, however, police claimed ,“whilst speaking with the driver and passenger their behaviour caused suspicion” and police observed an usual roll of cash.
A search of the vehicle found a number of items including a significant amount of cash, knives and a machete.
Two 30 year old Dubbo men have been charged.
One of the men has been charged with six offences and is to appear at Dubbo Local Court on September 25 and the other has been charged with two offences and is to appear at Mudgee Local Court on October 4.
