Thirty teams competed with a significant number travelling from Sydney, Newcastle, and even from as far away at the Pacific Palms club in the Mid North Coast region.
Raymond Terrace's Jason Stokes, Eric Ryan, and Ross Gardner won the weekend, ahead of the trio headed by Chris Couchman of Wenty Leagues and Wallacia’s Matt Slager’s team.
Mudgee's Cody Graham was skip of the highest placed local team in sixth, just ahead of Jae Marskell’s trio.
While Chris O’Neill’s team finished in tenth, which put some Gulgong representation in the top ten.
Gulgong's Darren Elbourne’s team didn’t leave empty handed after scoring the Round 3 best card after 15 ends countback.
Gulgong Men’s Bowling Club secretary, Colin Ferguson, said, “all of the games were played in great spirit and the winners were absolutely gracious”.
The event is the club’s showcase which helps fund their community programs.
