Hugh Bateman spoke of his trip with The Pink Tractor Trek which raised money for The McGrath Foundation.
We then had a very special extra guest, Tracey Bevan (wife of cricketer, Michael Bevan) who was the best friend of Jane McGrath.
She along with Jane formed the foundation to help women with breast cancer and continues to support the foundation.
Our hardworking president Helen Rhodes along with Jennie Foote and Debbie Sutcliffe also raised $6,000 for McGrath Foundation, a fantastic achievement.
VIEW Club volunteers donated their time to distribute over 200 Pink Up Packs to Mudgee.
The Pink Up campaign has over 350 businesses/organisations/community groups registered, 240 Mudgee (240), Gulgong (60) and Kandos (50).
The Pink Up Community Event will be held at St John’s Anglican Church this Saturday from 9am and the Pink Up Golf Day will being held at Mudgee Golf Club from 9am.
A new member, Yvonne Battie, received her badge, a warm welcome to her.
Our next meeting at the Mudgee Golf Club will be on November 3, the theme is for the Melbourne Cup, hats, fascinators and the like, so be there for a fun day.
Members and guests welcome.
