The local students competing were; Jacquie Spice, Allen Drakeford, Emma Hawkins, Angus Danson, William Drakeford, Luke Hawkins, Julie-Anne Maher, and Jack Newman.
Who brought home seven placings.
Four of which belonged to Julie-Anne Maher.
She scored; first place in Continuous Sparring, Veteran’s – Over 40 years Female; second in Point Sparring, Veteran’s – Over 40 years Female; third in Forms, Female Advanced (5th – 1st Kyu); and third in Point Sparring, Female Advanced (5th – 1st Kyu).
William Drakeford picked up a second place in Continuous Sparring and a fourth in Point Sparring.
And Angus Danson placed fourth in Continuous Sparring.
Four rounds are held during the year ahead of the NSW State Championships.
Competitors have now qualified for the 2017 National All Styles Championships, which will be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park on the weekend of December 2-3.
Which will be the culmination to the NAS year bringing together athletes from around Australia.
