The zone that includes the Mid-Western region came in at eighth in the state last financial year, NRMA Insurance data shows.
It had three per cent of all storm claims to the company.

With 165 storm jobs for the NSW State Emergency Service (SES), Dubbo was the hardest hit centre in the far west region during the period, followed by Broken Hill, Mudgee, Wellington and Narromine.
Despite storms taking their toll, nearly half of all NSW homeowners - 46 per cent - have not taken enough measures to prepare their home for the coming storm season, the research shows.
NRMA Insurance and the NSW SES are urging residents to prepare their homes for storm season.
“It’s concerning that NSW residents underestimate the impact of storms,” NRMA Insurance head of shared value Ramana James said.
“Together with the NSW SES, we’re urging everyone to take the time now to prepare your home, business and community for severe storms.
“Despite NSW experiencing its driest September on record, October marks the start of storm season and we have already seen severe storms strike many parts of the state.
“Severe weather can strike at any time and preparation is key to limiting damage. “Little acts like trimming branches, clearing your gutters and securing loose items in your garden or balcony can make a big difference when severe weather strikes.”
