Michael Hooper and his team arrived in Teddington on Sunday and are staying at the Lensbury - the same venue where they were based for much of the last World Cup.

A relatively short bus ride from Cardiff to Teddington was well-received by the group after an arduous travelling schedule this year that has seen them go to almost every continent of the globe and made Sundays their least favourite day of the week.

As much as the Wallabies will say otherwise, the England game is by far their most important of the spring tour.

Looking beyond the Michael Cheika and Eddie Jones head-to-head match-up that those in the media and rugby fans are looking forward to, there is so much more to this match.

The second and third best teams in world rugby will battle it out for supremacy and bragging rights.

After being thumped 33-13 at their home World Cup, England returned with a bang and beat Australia four times last year, including a memorable 3-0 series sweep in June.

There is a bitter aftertaste in the mouth of Wallabies players who are still shattered by being outplayed so comprehensively in June, which was compounded by the fact they couldn't get the job done at Twickenham in December.

Hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau played in all three June Tests and hinted he was being spurred on by revenge, before rolling out the party line.

"We've got some unfinished business against them," Polota-Nau said. "Obviously last year we didn't get the results we were after so in saying that, it's more so having to go from there and hopefully put [forward] the front foot dominance instead of receiving it.

"More or less, just having to put history in the past and making sure we continue the form that we're in."

The buzzword among Wallabies players this year has been "process". The group is hell-bent on shutting out external noise and simply worrying about preparing for the England game like any other.

Asked what the 29-21 win against Wales could do for confidence heading into the England clash, Wallabies second-rower Adam Coleman said: "We stick to the processes. It's been going well for us, we treat every week the same and we'll head down to England and do the same prep."

Then asked if he thought there was more hype around the England game than normal, Coleman disagreed.

"We speak about every week being the same, whether you're playing England, whether you're playing the All Blacks," Coleman said. "If you have that consistency in your training and your preparation and you nail down the detail, the outcome can take care of itself. We're really making sure we get the finer detail in our game and we think that will be the difference."

While Australia will be without Israel Folau against England for the first time since the World Cup they have Kurtley Beale and Will Genia in the ranks after the pair missed all four fixtures last year.

The pair's impact cannot be underestimated following on from their terrific performances in Cardiff to help ensure Australia remains unbeaten on the spring tour.

"Coming away with the win [in Cardiff], it doesn't matter how you get the win as long as you get it," Coleman said. "The boys really dug in with 14 men there at the end and really showed some good character."
