This is to be a spectacular event with the Gulgong Chamber Music playing in the morning with other live music throughout the day.

As well as Merilyn Burch-Carney, Ross and Judy Kurtz will have a display of their painting for sale.

There will be all the usual stalls such as James’s pickles, olive oil, local honey, plants, recycled books, lavender products, clothing and Christmas cards. Colleen will be there with her delicious food.

There will also be face-painting for the kids and the $10 Circus will be performing.

Alan Walker’s Paparazzi Photo Club will also be there. Come in a see Agnes and have a wonderful massage.

To top off this great Christmas celebration Agnes (market organiser) has invited all the stall holders, locals and visitors to a complimentary Christmas Lunch with food by Wen Chen’s Asian Cuisine, Colleen’s desserts and Christmas cake by Jenny Henningham.

The day starts at 8.30am and concludes around 3pm. In the case of rain the markets will be held in the Memorial Hall.

The Angina Monologues by Peter Barnett will be performed December 1-2 in The Prince of Wales Opera House Gulgong.

This hilarious compilation of larger than life characters, struggling through the trials and tribulations of daily life.

The cast consists of Kal Newcomb, Kathy Maloney, Ann Doran and Scott Etherington.

A gourmet grazing table will be provided at interval sponsored by Robert Stein.

Gulgong has many talented artists. One of these is Merilyn Burch-Carney.

For the past two years Merilyn has been a finalist in the Outback Archies.

Her painting this year was called “Keith” while last year her painting “Scrubby” was a finalist in the Outback Archies and also came third in the Quota International of Wellington Art Exhibition.

Merilyn also makes greeting cards from her paintings and has them, along with her art, for sale at the Gulgong Markets.
