The final telly of cash raised from the annual event on Saturday, November 25 was $6195 and around four ute loads of toys.
Kate Cormie, from Barnardos, described the delivery as amazing.
“We’re really really lucky in the Mudgee community to have such generous community spirit,” she said. “We have people donate to use all through the year, but particularly at Christmas time.”
The toys donated this year cater to children of all ages – from board games, boogie boards, mini bikes and crayons.
“Anyone in need throughout the whole Mid Western area will receive the toys,” Kate said.
“They might just have hit a bad time, a bit of bad luck. The last thing we want is for a child to go without at Christmas time.”
Staff at Barnardos have a huge job ahead, sorting and distributing the toys to families in need before December 25.
