The Mudgee community has the chance to provide input into planning of the Government’s $35 million Integrated Cancer Centre Dubbo.

The project team is inviting community members to submit a participation form to be considered for consumer consultation opportunities in 2018.

Dubbo Hospital’s Oncologist, Dr Florian Honeyball welcomes consumer feedback into the planning process to ensure the cancer centre meets the needs of everyone. “Community input is integral to delivering high quality cancer diagnostic and treatment services for our local, regional and remote patients.”

The cancer centre will include a PET CT Scanner for cancer diagnostics, a bunker for radiation therapy and16 chemotherapy treatment spaces. The consumer participation form is available at Dubbo Hospital and can also be downloaded online at: dubbohospitalredevelopment.health.nsw.gov.au
