In a recent discussion with The Mudgee Guardian, Chamber of Commerce president Greg Dowker said the Mudgee Money cards aren’t only active throughout the holiday period, rather “all year round”.
The movement encourages people to shop at local stores where money will stay within the region.
50 shops put their hand up to be Mudgee Money eligible, with 10 of those shops functioning as ‘load up’ stores where you can put money onto your card.

Dowker and the Chamber of Commerce pumped 22 thousand into Mudgee Money cards, with 19 thousand still remaining for purchase.
What does this mean? Buy yourself or a mate a Mudgee Money card.
Cards can be purchased at any of the ‘load up stores’ or on the Mudgee Chamber of Commerce website.
