Damian’s Photographic Exhibition
The No. 47 Gallery in Louee st, Rylstone was crowded last Saturday, for the opening of Damian Castaldi’s Photographic display, titled “Our Town”. Many of the subjects portrayed were on hand to see the results.
Damian said, “I set about taking snapshots of people I had come across since moving to Kandos with my wife,
Solange in mid-2016. I was inspired by the random view one, cold, winters day, of Nalan crossing Louee street
with her trolley. “Cowboy” popped up next, walking his dog in Dangar St, Kandos, then Peter was watering his garden and the rest followed. “Our Town” is a sample of those snapshots and encounters.
It might give you a sense of the two towns in the faces and characters of a small section of people who live here.
