They took to Facebook to gather votes from their listeners and followers and after a razor close poll, the Mudgee Wig Library come out on top.
The Mudgee-based radio crew weren’t sure what they would be doing to raise the money until they looked through their ‘photo Friday’ submissions and thought the images would make for a good calendar.
Jenny Burrow and the 2MG/Real FM crew designed the calendar in-house before Harvey Norman agreed to print the calendars free of charge.
Harvey Norman’s generosity allowed the Mid-Western Regional Charity Calendar to be sold for $20 each with all profits to be sent directly to the Mudgee Wig Library.
The calendar is made up of photos from towns throughout the Mid-Western region and have been purchased as gifts for people in Canada and New Zealand – among other countries around the world.

“This surpassed any expectation we had,” Cutupri said.
“It’s been absolutely amazing.”
