3,500 copies of the directory will be printed and distributed around the region in 2018, giving residents and visitors a one-stop guide to businesses, services and maps.
And this year, your photo could be on the front page!
We’re searching for photos that celebrate the Mid-Western region. The competition can include landscapes, local landmarks and/or people.
The winning photo will be printed on the front page of the guide (including your name and the photo title) with a selection of the other stunning photos included inside.
How to enter
You can email your entry of up to THREE photos to honor.elliott@fairfaxmedia.com.au
Photographs can be shot on any kind of camera or phone and must be taken anywhere in the Mi-Western region, including Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone, Kandos, Lue and surrounds.
In your entry, please include your name, address, phone number, photo title, a description of the photograph and add A-Z in the email subject line.
Photographs should be emailed between 500KB and 4MB in size.

Entries close Tuesday, February 13.
The competition is open from Tuesday, January 30, 2018 until Tuesday, February 13, 2017. Entries will be displayed in an album on this page.
When entries close, a ‘best-of’ selection will be made by the Mudgee Guardian staff. The public will vote on their favourite from this list.
Voting is open for 24 hours after entries close.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday, February 14.
The 2018 A-Z Business Directory will be available from April, 2018.
Rules and handy info
Your main source of income can't be derived from photography.
By entering, contestants agree that they took the photograph supplied and that they own the copyright for that photograph. Permission is given to Fairfax Media to print the photographs in the Mudgee Guardian and associated Fairfax Media publications as well as in any other form, including print, online, book, calendar or exhibition.
The photographer retains the copyright. Fairfax reserves the right to crop the photograph.
