A Mudgee man has been granted conditional bail to appear in court next month after police allegedly seized drugs and an improvised weapon from his car.

At 8am on Tuesday, the 42-year-old was stopped for a traffic violation in Gladstone Street Mudgee, with a subsequent investigation leading police to search his vehicle
During the course of the search they will allege they uncovered a hand-made set of knuckledusters attached to a blade, along with six grams of methylamphetamine.
The man was charged with possess prohibited drug, and possess prohibited weapon, and was given conditional bail to appear at Mudgee Local Court on March 7.
