It would have appeared even less likely after Shaun Lumsden (55) opened with a half century, forming a strong partnership with J Williamson (23) that put the Pack in the driver’s seat.
What the Woolpack probably wasn’t expecting was for six of the ensuing batsmen to get out for a duck as the following players took the walk of shame: Napier, Singer, Stewart, D McGrath, Cooke and Carev.
Who was responsible for the carnage? Fletcher Sibley (6/13).
The star of the day took six scalps on the day and sent five batsmen packing for 0.
The late innings Sibley show left Wololpack all out for 151 with a manageable total to chase for the Bulls on the other side of the lunch break.
Oriental Bulls started how the Woolpack finished as it was 2-6 after both Rava boys were dismissed by Spargo (2/5) who did his best Fletcher Sibley impression.
M Mahon (40) steadied the ship for the Bulls and left his side at 4-76 when he got out at the 25-over mark.
O Mahon (30 not out) picked up where his relative left off and did all he could to get his side the win.
After 34 overs, the Bulls were 7-138 with just 14 runs required to win.
However, Williamson (1/9), Singer (2/17) and Napier (2/16) clicked into gear, dismissing the final batsmen 13 runs later.
Oriental was all out for 151, seeing the sides settle for a tie.
