On Tuesday afternoon, coach Anthony Seibold put together a 21-man team sheet and even though over a handful of names jump off the page, Dane Gagai’s might jump the highest.
The 27-year-old signed a four-year deal with the Rabbitohs in the lead up to the season and is yet to throw on the jersey in 2018.
Stepping onto the paddock with Gagai will be try-scoring phenom Alex Johnston who looked as electric as ever during Saturday’s trial match against Wigan.
Other notable names include George and Sam Burgess, Cody Walker and Robbie Farah.
The Bunnies haven’t lost a Charity Shield match since 2012 and despite dealing with a few absentees, their roster is still more than capable of getting the result.
