Solange Knowles has been announced as the headline act for this year's Vivid Live event at the Sydney Opera House.

The Grammy Award-winner, and little sister to Beyonce, will perform her album A Seat At The Table in the round with 360 degree views at the Opera House in June.
The R&B album, Solange's fourth, was released in 2016 and put the singer on the map. In 2017 she won the Grammy for Best R&B performance for the powerful song, Cranes In The Sky.
A ballot will be conducted to buy tickets to Solange's concert, in the same way they did for previous Vivid Live headline shows from Morrissey, Kraftwerk and Anohni.
This will be the 10th year for the Vivid Live festival, that coincides with the city's winter light show. The full program at the Sydney Opera House will be announced next month.
*Solange will perform in the Sydney Opera House from June 1 - June 4.
*Ticket ballot opens at 7am (AEDT) on February 26 until 11.59pm (AEDT) on March 4. Successful applicants will be chosen randomly.
