Art Unlimited, Dunedoo’s highly regarded arts competition and exhibition, has attracted two new sponsors for the event’s major prizes.

The $3000 prize for hanging art will be provided by Peabody Wilpinjong and the $3000 prize for photography will be sponsored by ib vogt.
Peabody Wilpinjong has committed to funding the hanging art prize for the next three years. Ib vogt, sponsor of the photography prize, has been focusing on the development of solar power plants in the UK, Germany, Southeast Asia and India since 2009.
The Art Unlimited $3000 prize for ceramics is the other major prize in the competition. The $500 People’s Choice Prize will this year be sponsored by Dunedoo Rural Hardware and the $500 Indigenous Artist Prize will be provided by Orana Arts for the seventh consecutive year. ABC Western Plains will also continue to provide a prize for a work that best depicts the Western Region, and the Janace Holmes Family Memorial Prize will once again be awarded to a work chosen by the family of the late Janace Holmes.
Entry forms for Art Unlimited must be received by Thursday, April 19 along with a $12 entry fee for each work entered. There is a limit of five works per person per category. Works delivered by post must be received prior to Thursday, May 10. Works can be delivered in person on May 12-13 to Dunedoo Central School hall, Digilah Sreet, Dunedoo.
