Studs and breeders from across the region have returned from the show with first, second, champion, and reserve champion ribbons in a number of classes, showcasing just how much the Mid-Western region has to offer to the rest of Australia. 

Darryl Bishop from Osory Stud had another record year with 14 champion, reserve champion, grand champion, and supreme exhibit sashes to add to his  impressive trophy case. 

Mr Bishop  showed the senior champion Saanen doe, reserve senior champion Saanen doe, senior champion British Alpine doe, senior champion Australian Melaan doe, best type and production herd recording, reserve grand champion senior dairy goat, junior champion Saanen doe, reserve junior champion Saanen doe, junior champion British Alpine doe, kid champion Saanen doe, reserve kid champion Saanen doe, supreme exhibit Saanen, supreme exhibit British Alpine, and supreme exhibit Australian Melaan. 

Joining Mr Bishop with a number of new sashes was goat breeder James Parlevliet, who came out on top in the Toggenburg section. 

Mr  Parlevliet was showed the  senior champion Toggenburg doe, reserve senior champion Toggenburg doe, grand champion senior dairy goat doe, junior champion Toggenburg doe, and Supreme Exhibit Toggenburg in the dairy goat section.  

Goats breeders were not the only one to excel.  

Bocoble Merino Stud won  top honours in the August Shorn Poll Merino Section. The stud exhibited the  Reserve Champion Fine Wool August Shorn Poll Merino Ewe after an amazing showing in the merino and poll merino sections. 

Also doing well in the poll merino section was Lynford Poll Merino Stud. 

The stud won ribbons for  Champion Superfine August Shorn Poll Merino Ram, Reserve Grand Champion Superfine  August Shorn Poll Merino Ewe, Reserve Grand Champion Superfine Poll Merino Ram, and Reserve Grand Champion Superfine Poll Merino Ewe.
