The newly appointed Lifeskills ambassadors entertained with a mix of old favourite and new numbers, including their latest single, Brothers Never Part.
Makirum explained that Brothers Never Part was about the group’s rollercoaster ride on Channel 7’s X-Factor, where the group passed the first audition, was eliminated, then brought back by popular vote, going on to make the final three.
“It was hi Brothers3, bye Brothers3, then back again,” Makirum said.
A year on from their X-Factor experience, the trio has not been idle.
Now signed to Warner Music Australia, Brothers3 have been adding the final touches to their soon-to-be released album, which includes a mix of original songs and covers.
After their time in the studio, the brothers were clearly enjoying being back on stage.
A highlight of the night was an unexpected performance of Hallelujah, with Tayzin stepping reluctantly into the lead singer’s role, bringing some audience members to their feet to applaud.
The Mudgee concert kicked off a busy month of performances, which will see Brothers3 heading to Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Macksville and Grafton.
