
More than 190 competitors participating from Western and other districts competed in Mudgee Indoor Swimming Club’s annual carnival last Sunday.

Several records were broken by club members including Luke Beckingham, who smashed records in the 200 Medley (2.30.03), 50 Breast (32.75), 100 Breast (1.12.46) 200 Breast (2.41.74) and also the 200 Free (2.12.62).
Lilly Jessiman took out the record for 50 (37.42) and 100M Breast (1.23.74) in the 12 year old girl category, not to be outdone by younger sibling William Jessiman (40.47).
The youngster now owns the record for 25m Breast for boys six-years-old and under.
Liam Hollis (39.820) and Bailey Davis (38.34) broke records in the 50 handicap.
Macy Morley arrived home from the Adelaide Pacific School Games where she placed 12th in the 50 fly and 11th in 50 back, just in time to take out the same events in Mudgee (30.82 fly, 34.32 back).
Many club representatives placed and had personal bests. The stand outs included Ethan Robertson and Imogen Kearins, who both placed and had eight personal bests each.
Liam Hollis had six personal bests, as well as Sam Couch, Darcy Cavanagh, Anthea Kearins Lewis Roth and Samual Roth who all had five personal bests each.
Toby Forrester and Matilda Jessiman claimed four personal bests.
