Mudgee’s September 4 race meet will turn a shade of pink in support of the McGrath Foundation. A VIP area will be sectioned off for the special event at the Mudgee meet. The day promises to be something unforgettable with the races, pink cocktails, fashions on the field and some incredible prizes up for grabs. All funds raised will go towards the funding of McGrath Foundation Breast Care Nurses who care for women and men battling the disease. Tickets for the Spring Pink Races at Mudgee Racecourse are limited and can be purchased at Cherry Red or The Property Shop. As part of a separate event for the month of October, National Breast Care Awareness Month, the Mudgee CBD will be dressed pink with banners, streamers in shopfronts and lighting in support of the McGrath Foundation and breast cancer awareness. Mudgee Town Hall is one of several landmarks that will blush pink for the inaugural event that will include a gala ball.
