Member for Bathurst Paul Toole officially opened Rylstone’s newest sporting facility, the Rylstone Skate Park, located in the grounds of Rylstone Showground. He was joined by Mid-Western Regional Councillor Peter Shelley and a number of interested spectators.

Mr Toole said, the aim of the skate park project has been to develop a sporting facility which will keep young people active and involved in a very popular sporting pursuit.
“Support by the NSW Government through the Community Building Partnership program of $10,000 and the assistance of Mid-Western Regional Council has ensured that this facility has come to fruition.”
Mid-Western Youth Council also worked hard to design and deliver the project.
“I congratulate members of the Youth Council, Mid-Western Regional Council and other volunteers for their vision and commitment in bringing this fantastic project to life,” Mr Toole said.
