Thursday, October 6, saw a field of 38 hit-off and the winner of the Mudgee Bakery and Café shirt was Jeff Williamson with 36 points, closely followed by Andy Gay on 35 points and Tom Cooke a further point back.

Nearest the pins went to Matt Stanley on the second hole, Geoff Rhodes on the fourth and the three different grade winners on the eleventh hole were David Halpin, Jeff Williamson and Bill Bleechmore.
Saturday and 94 golfers contested a 4 ball best ball medley event and the winners were Chris Boyce and Matt Stanley on 46 points from husband and wife team of Helen and Ian Rhodes with 44 on a count back from Peter and Cameron McDonald.
Nearest the pins went to Ron Fletcher, Karen Nicholas, Peter Best, Birgit Smith, Nathan Hill and Robyn Hammond.
Sunday was the Mudgee Ladies Open stroke event which attracted a great field of 73 golfers including 32 visitors.
Mudgee life member Trish Jones showed her class with a fine 79 off the stick, a comfortable eight shots clear of Sharon Nott from Dunedoo.
The course is in magnificent condition and all golfers are encouraged to “get back to golf”.
On Saturday the members will play for the monthly mug sponsored by PB Ag and don’t miss the McGrath Foundation Charity Day the following weekend on Sunday, October 16.
