After a shaky start Jacob Edmonds steadied the innings with 74, Andrew Best’s 30 n.o also helping set a target of 153.
Mick Dowell (2/28) claimed both openers’ scalps.
Country ran out of overs at 106.
Wickets were taken by; O’Reilly (2/10); Cremona (1/6); Fielding (1/5); Bright (1/6); Moore (1/33).
In the second match McDonald Lawson only lost two batsmen chasing down Lawson Park’s total.
LP were all out for 90, number-five Michael Ford top scoring with 29.
Jared Clulow took an impressive 4/13, Brad Golden took 2/14 to clean them up in 17 overs.
Golden then made it an all round performance opening the batting for the Bulls’ chase and scoring 60 n.o, alongside Troy Kenny (17 n.o).
