He and his wife Heidi came to Mudgee to retire from Newcastle Diocese.
However, he was called to care for Mudgee Parish when their Rector at the time Reverend Dr Maxwell Wood was called to serve as Rector of Saint Luke’s Mosman.
Father David and Heidi will continue to reside in Mudgee for what looks like a second retirement.
The new Rector, Reverend Canon Jono Williams, currently Rector of Canowindra will be installed as the 21st Rector of Mudgee on Saturday, December 3, at 2.30pm by Bishop Ian Palmer of Bathurst.
