The Pink Up Mudgee organiser helped carry the Jane McGrath flag at the annual cricket day, that raises money for the McGrath Foundation.
Hugh told the Mudgee Guardian “it’s a huge honour to have been selected.”
“Only 20 people from around Australia get the opportunity to carry the flag of Jane McGrath,” he said.
Those selected were breast cancer survivors, breast care nurses, fundraisers and sponsors of the McGrath Foundation.
“The Pink Test is such an incredible day, the crowd really gets involved by dressing in pink,” Hugh said.
On the day, Hugh met with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull – taking a selfie for Facebook.
The PM also tweeted a photo with Hugh saying “the sea of pink at the SCG is an inspiring sight, a statement of support for women fighting breast cancer.”
