Last year saw the area form two teams for the competition – an Under 7s and Under 12/13s side, and the organisation’s recruitment drive looks to bring more teams to the area.

One such event was a fun footy day at Kandos Public School last year.

Another planned event is a Muster Day for over 12s on January 21 at Kandos Sportsground, and another event at Rylstone Showground on Saturday February 4.

A final registration day will be held on February 11 at the Kandos Sportsground, with more information coming at a later date.

The drive to recruit more players for the junior teams comes with the changes looming for Country Rugby League movements, and Kandos and Rylstone hope to set up a strong juniors system for years to come.
