Cooper Bland, his parents Katie and Chas Bland, sister Ebony, 5, and his friend Marno Barnard, 6, all travelled from Parkes on Sunday to celebrate his seventh birthday and ride the giant inflatable slides at Waterworld Central.
“This is the best birthday ever, because this is the first birthday I’ve been to at the water park,” he said.
“I’ve been going down the slides and the dragon slide.”
Mrs Bland said: “It’s fantastic, really great, and definitely worth the drive”.
Waterworld Central site manager Eric Wagner said the park has four pools, zorb balls, multiple water slides for children and a large dino slide that adults can ride.
