Boyd recorded a breath analysis of 0.079 in Gulgong on November 13, 2016.
In court he said the person he was with couldn’t drive and he “miscalculated how much I drank”.
Peter Albert Daly, 62, of Park Road, Luddenham, was convicted in his absence and fined $500 for driving without a licence.
Daly was stopped for a random breath test on the Castlereagh Highway at Capertee on November 3, 2016.
When asked for his licence he said “I lost it years ago from drink driving”, a check confirmed he was disqualified in 1995 and his licence expired the same year and wasn’t renewed.
Noel James Donohoe, 76, of Carrington Street, Queanbeyan, was convicted in his absence and fined $250 for negligent driving.
Donohoe was stopped by police for excessive speed on the Castlereagh Highway, Cudgegong on August 26, 2016.
When he drove off he broke traction hitting the police vehicle with gravel.
