There were two categories to enter – target rifle and sporting rifle.
In the target rifles Glen Faucett claimed top spot with 199 and 197, and a total score of 396.
Just one off Faucett’s score was Paul Baskerville, who recorded 198 and 197 for a combined total of 395.
Mark Faucett was a few targets short, with 191 and 198 (the best of the second round) to tally 389.
In the sporting rifle category, Leigh Milton’s first tally set a good foundation against Geoff Sutcliffe, with Milton’s scores coming to 150 and 162, collecting at 312.
Sutcliffe’s second pile was fantastic at 186, but it was added to 124 and fell just 2 short at 310.
Next Saturday, March 11 there will be a working bee held at 11am, followed by a shoot from 90 metres.
