The production showcased the talents of clients from Mudgee Disability Support Service, with support from performers from Stepping Out in Mudgee and Mudgee Performing Arts Society.
Mudgee Dramability group has been in action for five years.
The Group started with a small production held at the Mudgee Baptist Church, but for the last three years, the members of the Group have requested their performance be showcased to the community at Mudgee Town Hall Theatre.
“Mid-Western Regional Council has kindly sponsored our performances each year and we cannot thank them enough,” Mudgee Disability Support Service program manager Ingrid Puxty said.
“Not only do the council contribute, so does the community of Mudgee with many businesses donating for fund raising for the service.”
Shortly after the play Mudgee Disability Support Service received the news that they had received a grant of $3,000 from Kepco to go towards covering the cost of the props for the production.
The clients and staff of Mudgee Disability Support Service thanked all the business that have contributed to Mudgee Disability Support Services fundraising.
And would they like the community to know that through their support Mudgee Disability Support Service has raised $8,000.
Which will now go towards running programs and a holiday for the clients of the local organisation.
