Close favourites to take out the top spot at the end of the season is Road Transport Australia, who came up against Mudgee Travel and Cruise in a closely fought game this round.
Although Road Transport Australia narrowly edged the Travel and Cruise team, the game still came down to the wire, with Lisa Cottee, Shaun Lumsden, Jason Nichols, Katie Dicker, Ben Kerr and Steve Morrison all finding the back of the net.
The Mudgee Cranes were downed by Gulgong Transport in the other game that was played in the round, with Gulgong’s passing game proving the difference in the end.
However, rookie Bec Seis netted her first goal regardless of the result.
Point scorers for this game were Nick Seis, Bec Seis, Debra Kerr, Elizabeth Brennan, Nick Ioane, and Jo Ioane.
The final game of the round was won by H2R by forfeit, with Mudgee Bearing Company unable to field a team, however and no points were given either way.
