The vibrant body of work was inspired by a recent beach holiday to the South Coast and the curiosities Alisa discovered within the rock pools.
The artworks reproduce the shimmering luminescent lights reflecting within the pools and the treasures hidden within them.
Alisa is well known for her weaving of stories in her works and this exhibition is no exception, stating that the play on surface, depth and light is a relation to our own hidden desires and regrets that we cover with facades and altered dispositions.
Gempools will be on display until Tuesday, September 5.
